My fine art portraits are a tribute to the inner light that artists and musicians bring into the world. This passion is deeply rooted in my lineage, as my 13th great-grandfather, Nicholas Hilliard, was a celebrated English Miniature portrait artist, renown for capturing the grace and spirit of royalty. Hilliard's work went beyond mere likeness; he revealed in inner beauty and radiance of his subjects, a quality so profound that Queen Elizabeth I, herself, entrusted him to paint her multiple times - a rare honor that preserved his life and legacy.

In my own work, I carry forward this tradition of seeing beyond the surface. I don't simply portray the value of my subjects' positions or their artisitc roles; I seek to honor the humanity, creativity, and unique spirit they bring into the world.  Each portrait is a timeless reflection of their inner light - an homage not just to their craft, but to the profound impact of their being. Through my art, I aim to illuminate the beauty of life that connects us all.
